Pabst, We wish you and your wonderful fiance' all the best that love and life together has to offer! I wuz married very happily, but my first wife passed away from ovarian cancer. Years later I remarried and my precious wife and I absolutely treasure each other. True marrital happiness is a mutual choice. Here are my 7 C's for a happy marriage:

1. Connection: Vertical=Your faith and belief system. Horizontal=Nurture Your Love Connection, unifying your hearts, bodies and souls as one. Diagonal: The now interwoven relationship with your familes. Develop those relationships, but never allow them to unfairly interfere in your Vertical or Horizontal relationships.

2. Communication: Clear, thoughtful and loving communications; vocal, touching, kissing caressing and silent looks are communications that are vital to the survival of your common ground as a couple. Always talk things out and never go to bed angry. Avoid hurtful words and phrases you may regret later. Deal with your true thoughts & feelings in honesty and fairness.

3. Colorfulness: True colorfulness calls for Action. Colorfulness includes how well you express your thoughts and feelings, it is fun, laughter, humor, enjoyable activities -simply blessing each other in evrything you do together. It also intails blending your mutual strengths and weaknesses into a colorful fabric of loving joy, strength and endurance.

4. Caring: Treasure each other and show it in all the little ways. In life and love it is often the little things that become the bigger things in life. Honor and prefer each other with unselfish acts and in caring ways.

5. Caressing: Yes. Touch, stroke, hug, kiss, jungle love.. -whatever turns you and her on! Do it often & strive to do it very well!

6. Commitment: A true loving relationship is a covenantal bond which is unbreakable. Your vows are sacred. never cheapen your side of the marriage with careless attitudes or behaviors that could harm your relationship. Mutuality and genuineness is the key.

Especially in the are of budgets and expenses: Purpose yourselves to do what is best for your life, love and your mutual dreams and goals.

7. Cullinary Excellence! Yep! If you don't know how to make it, know where to buy it, find it, go get it -or take them there to enjoy it together! I have found that well fed and nourished partners are happier partners. Funny, but cooking or preparing a yummy snack together can be a fun, rewarding -and oh yeh baby! -Even a sexy experience!

Finally, Pabst & The Future Mrs. Pabst: In life and love no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.

Too many couples allow their relationships to develop into adversarial contests of wills and ways, values and selfish motives. The "Me Me Me Syndrome" can harm, if not kill a realtionship. The word Intimacy means: "Into Me See". If you strive to know and understand each other, you will find that it is so much easier to love and care and share true romantic passions for each other.

You grow a marriage much like you eat an elephant - one bite at a time!

We pray that these words of encouragement will serve to bless the two of you, and help you to enjoy and grow your marriage realtionship into everything you hope and dream it will be!
