But on a seriouse note, when I first came here was just the begining of the explosion of members, there were still alot of "ancients" around and the summer of 2004 was the best I have seen it here. It is sad that alot of those guys are gone, but also alot of stuff is stamped out quicker now then it used to be.

a stupid noob thread used to go on for about 20 pages, now it's locked at about 2 or 3 if there isn't a mod on when it's made.

this place isn't as good as it used to be, and has had alot of rough patches, but it is still the greatest site to be at, and there are still alot of great people around here. So make it the best you can with who you have,

and keep bashing n00bs cause they ask for it, and ill be danm if I or someone else doesn't give it too them.

Hmm.... I don't think I will.. I've better things to be doing that trashing one of the billions of dumbasses on this planet.

Agreed!!! To bad Jack feels that way... as he has a lot to offer..... but, like so many things in life, just one person doesn't make up a movement.

It's not dead by any way shape or form you fucking peckerheaded fuckaroo! Things change, some people have to make a living. People come and go. The personality of this site will change every 6-8 months, just by little bits here and there. and then we wake up and see that some old friends are no longer as active. I don't really think it is because WBW has changed, it is we who have changed.

Yes there have been modest changes in some areas, but nothing drastic for christs sake.

bullshitting with other members was what made this site great.... now it seems any thread can and will be locked for any reason, on the whim of the moderator

like things on politics and religion
i remember when i could sit and argue with uh.... that one guy who had a bull for an avatar and liked shitty football teams, for hours on end about america.... and baptists... or whatever.
now it seems that moderators are so quick to jump on the "locked button" that i was scared to mention "america" for fear that this thread would be closed

for example

i made a thread awhile back about a very contorversial video game
a game about the colombine shootings
its started an argument... which i assumed it would
but it was a healthy argument... peoples points were being made and no one was being hurt
however ves decided to jump in, lock the thread and whine to senja about it

i respect ves... he is a good mod...

but why stop a healthy conversation, about things that matter, and whine to the site owner?

no one complained.... it was a bitch move....

that shit has been happening alot... it was the main reason i quit coming here

now you may say "if you dont like it leave"
you may say "we have enough members now"

but if you start pissing off the loyal hard core members, and they start leaving.... you start to loose contributors.

once you loose contributors you loose soponsors...
