Here's my take...A little ink isn't so bad. The quality of the work and the placement is the issue for me. "Tramp Stamps" can be nice. Ink on women should be an artistic decoration or have some personal significance. I am not a fan of women who tat their tits or do major pieces on the front thighs. All that I have seen of that thus far is quite tacky. There are a number of runway models who have ink and it's fine. It's all a matter of taste. Style yes, trailer park no....
I'll never get one on a place like my neck
and all the tattoo's I have so far are covered by any half decent work uniform - people at work were shocked to find out I even had tattoo's lol
and yes - it may be your opinion... but I only got tattoo's I knew I wouldn't regret - I'd wanted them for years before I was old enough to get them
I have lots of tattoos ( 40 hours under the needle) and very few people even realize it. They are all covered - even if i only wear a t- shirt.
as a tattoo artist i have to promote ink but i have to admit there are some really stupid ones out there. it doesnt matter how many you have or where they are as long as they mean something to you. i have 11 myself and have never regretted any of them. i find tho that the people who walk into my shop and search thru my flash books to find something just because they want a new tat, usually end up coming back within a year or so to get it covered up.
personally i find tattoos on girls quite sexy and i dont care if you dont.
i have 5 tattoos - 1 very large - it covers half my back. Personally each tattoo that i have has a very personal meaning for me and each one signifies a life changing experience or belief that i have had. Ive never had a cover up done and i only work in shades of black and grey. No color in my tats.
