Men love beer, it's a fact. What are some of your favorite beer's from the USA and from around the world, how many different beers have you tried, which ones that you didn't like, and what beers are on the list of beers to try in the future.

Favorites: Guinness, Sam Adams (have tried all of them except for Utopias), Bass, Brooklyn Lager, Leffe Blond Ale, Kirin Ichiban, Goose Island 312, Newcastle, and many more
Tried: About 150ish, dont have an exact number
Dislike: Great Lakes Christmas and Eliot Ness, Goose Island Nut Brown Ale
Want to try: Sam Adams Utopias (World Record Holder Highest Alcohol by Volume at 26.4%), up for any that you guys (or gals) suggest

I don't actually like beer, I think it tastes fucking horrible...and it seems to be one of those "you're a guy, and we all love beer" type thing I'm just not willing to submit myself to, it tastes like shit, so I just ignore it.

I've had Guinness and it was terrible, but not as bad as other shit....other times I've had Coors and Budweiser...both also terrible. One time at a tractor pull, I was so bored I decided to get drunk...I had about 15 semi-warm Budweisers...and although they were terrible, it was better being drunk than really bored.

I don't know, that's all the beer I've had..and Guinness was the least terrible I suppose.

I'm sure a lot of people will come in here who have a lot more drinking related knowledge..

Costa Rica has a really great Lager called Imperial. Get one of those.

Panama has such good water that - for a little country of only 3 million - they make 8 beers!
Atlas
Balboa
Budweiser
Cristal
Heineken
Soberana
Panama
Warsteiner...are all brewed here.

I've had 'em all and they're great. Panama is my favorite. Atlas tastes just like Bud.

There was talk that Guinness was going to brew here but I think it fell through cause they couldn't
get all the ingredients they here they need. I'm not certain of that rumor.

You can get beer from all over the world here, because the ships go through
the canal and some manages to stay behind.

We just got that US beer from Miller called CHILL. Its OK.

The Coca Cola made here tastes just like it did when I was a kid, cause they
use cane sugar and not corn sugar. It makes for a better tasting coke.

"Sam Adams Utopias (World Record Holder Highest Alcohol by Volume at 26.4%)"

^^ i'm sure that tastes delightful haha. that sounds nasty.

i'm gonna have to agree with honda on this one. ALL my friends drink beer and i'm really not a huge fan. i mean if i'm cutting the grass i'll crush a couple coronas on a hot day but that's about it. beer bloats, makes you piss, superior hangover, and it's hard to conceal when sneaking into hockey games, public parks, church, etc..

now jack daniels, there's a drink that always has me coming back for more...

however, i also agree with tooker that when i wanna be a cheap ass bum i honestly don't mind Pabst (i'm in university so i suppose it's some sort of staple), i'd take it over that stella artois shit any day.

I must say that i havnt tried all the american beers exept the ones i had whilst living in new york, I did however manage a speciality beer restaurant in tel aviv at one time and we stocked about 250 tipes of beer there and i tried all of them.

Favourites: Budvar - Czec, Skol - South american, Abbot and Newcastle brown ale - English, Guinness - Irish, Amstel Lager and Heineken- Dutch, Weisbeer - German, Hansa Pilsner - South African.

Strongest beer ive had: Verboten Vrught - I think about 16% alcohol by volume- if memory serves me correctly.

Im more of a whiskey connoseur.

I'll have to back tooker up on his claim of cheap beer. I won't say that I love it more than the more expensive brands, but when you're drinking for quantity as opposed to quality, you've gotta go with the bargain.

And I've never kept track of how many I've tried. But out of all that I have tried, about the only one that I just about vomitted on was Gennessee Cream Ale. Not sure if that even counts as a beer. And it was way back in high school. But it left enough of an impression that I know I'll never try it again.

American beers are great for just sitting around and watching football or something like that but the majority of people i know from around here prefer imports. A few good american beers that ive found are Shinerbock, Landshark, a few varieties of Sierra Nevada, and leinenkugel's.

For imports i enjoy Redstripe most, but also Newcastle brown ale, Harp, Heineken, and Grolsch
