He could have died 20 years ago, that's about when he stopped mattering.

Mark it in your calendars. Brownell and I agree on something.

I wasn't a fan of his music and I really didn't care about anything he was up to. If he was guilty of diddling little kids then I'm sure he's regaining his color in a special layer of hell. If not well then who the hell knows. Just another douchebag who's life is given more value by society because he could sing or play an instrument or act. Now back to my Coors Originals, cheers.

At first, I didn't know if he died, or his nose finally fell off and he looked dead. He was a talented performer, but a complete and total slimeball! A lot of kids can sleep easier tonight.

Im suprised at the responses I agree with the majority he was a very questionable/fucked up individual! I figured with all his fame that it would be a bunch of Im so sad. I guess us common folk are not as blind as some people think we are!

Personally, I am glad because now God will decide where he belongs & sort it all out. As a performer & talent he was amazing & I grew up with the Jackson 5, he lost it along the way & got accused of some f*ked up shit.
f*k him - perverted little bas*ard

My mistake. You're so alternative and special.
Of course, the over 50 million copies of Thriller that have been sold must have just been used to prop up lopsided tables or something, because tooker says hes no good.
Yeah and McDonalds has sold over a billion burgers, so that must be some of the best tasting food ever.
Also, I'm not alternative or special, I'm just right.

If the objective of making music is to entertain, I'd say you're the greatest musician if you entertain the most people. And one of the easiest ways to measure level of popular support is through album sales. The greatest in terms of musical ability or tone and quality of recordings and all that nonsense is all subjective.
Plus he invented the moonwalk. And that has to count for something.

The way sales were counted at that point in the 80's was extremely flawed, warehouses full of albums that went nowhere were counted as "sold."
Judging something, anythings quality by sales is ridiculous. Enjoy your McDonalds hamburger.
Also, the moonwalk has been around since, at least the 1930's. It has been called the camel stroll among other things.

Further, he didn't add it to his dance routine. His choreographer - Paula Abdul - added it and taught him how to do it. She's weird too, but that's another story.

The guy was a freak, but he damn sure entertained many of people and could definitely sing/dance.
