I'm also an atheist, and I too love christmas.

I wish warm feelings and happiness to everyone out there in WBW land, and beyond. The smell of fresh baked cookies is in the air, and things are quiet, and calm. I'm going to make a fire in the fire place, and sit on the couch with my son and my dog and listen to the Charlie Brown christmas album.

How you guys celebrating this year? We are a two Christmas tree family, so the lights are on. I'm baking cookies, while MrsDorkButt is at work today. I'm also woodcarving ornaments -- yes, your DorkButt can whittle bitches.

Tonight its up in the air a bit. Not sure if we want to go to Mass tonight or tomorrow. We have an episode of the John Adams mini-series to watch. Then, since we live near the Chesapeake Bay we usually go to "Lights on the Bay" which is just one of those drive through Christmas light display at this part on the water. Its good stuff.

Merry Christmas EL and to all....the Bing Crosby/David Bowie vid is definitely cool. I remember seeing that on TV when I was a kid. It is a piece of work...it shows their talent. It is not easy to sing two songs at the same time like that.
