The iMac isn't more popular than the PC in the US. I have a PC in the guest room. It's an older gaming PC: a 1GB Athlon 64 3300 with a 256MB Nvidia 5200 AGP card. But I prefer the Mac. IMO, PC's are just... ugly.

The popularity of the Mac is increasing significantly. Apple got the cover of Wired last month and the cover of Business Week this week. Business Week's write up was the most interesting. http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/08_19/b4083036428429.htm

And I'm starting to see more & more sites that post Mac wallpaper in their collections. Meaning: The wallpaper is arranged so that the icons can appear on the right hand side of the screen. That's where the Mac's icons appear by default. On the right hand side. Here's a collection of Wii wallpapers from a games official site.
