Look-a-like?

So the question is: Are you often told that you look like someone else? or at least have been told this before...

If so, who? Do you agree with them? Did you take it as a compliment or was it like "oh, that's great. Thanks for informing me, ass."

to start... I've actually gotten a few names before, some I was pretty happy about, others I was like "ehhh... that's not so cool." But to start with one of them:

I've gotten "the girl in showgirls" otherwise known as Elizabeth Berkley playing a stripper/hooker. sweet. haha I took it as both a compliment and an "ehhh I'm probably going to stop hanging out with these guys."

...I have since seen the movie and actually agree that in some scene shots that I look like her... but don't see it so much in pictures of her outside of that movie... I don't think she's the most attractive girl, but she has her moments...

Dean Cain and Steven Segal.

Orlando Bloom (specifically with the long hair from Lord of the Rings, but they were dudes so I'm not sure it counts), Johnny Depp (from a friend of mine and Fefe a long time ago)...although in my own opinion I don't think I look much like either of them.

People have actually come up to my dad in public places and told him he looks like Sean Connery wearing a wig. Under the right circumstances my dad looks a fuckton like Sean Connery, Plus, he's Scottish, which is lulzy.

Bangles, you look a lot like Dean Cain, keep up the great work.

My joke answer to this thread was going to be "Women have told me I look-a-like a good lay"...and then I was going to throw out a little "rimshot" comment, but I decided against it, because I wasn't in the mood for such shenanigans.

I've been told by many different people that I look like "my uncle who lives in California," that one made me feel bad. Older white guys and gang bangers in my old neighborhood in Chicago often mistook me for some guy who used to live in the "hood." This bothered me, cause I thought it might get me shot!

but I've also gotten the olsen twins (meh), Kate Hudson ( yaaay!) and I remember being really excited when someone told me that I looked like someone... but I don't remember who it was... haha maaaybe I wasn't in the right state of mind that night :P

No one ever told me I look like someone famous. : | I get a shit-ton of people that tell me I look just like their cousin/friend/whatever, though. I think they're lying, because I've never met anyone that looks just like me.

I used to get Jim Harbaugh who used to be QB for the Indianapolis colts. When I lived there. I could see the resemblence there, I even got asked for autographs.

Then I started getting the George Clooney comparison, which is weird, cause we have the same B-day.

The one I always hated cause I was to young to know who the fuck Donnie Osmand was. I don't see that one. Just cause we share the same fucking name and have dark hair.

You can only imagine how popular I am with the ladies.

@Demo: I once had a dream, I was a director shooting a commercial right, and you were Mr.Cleans stunt double, like you did all the live action shit, and then I realized there is no live-action Mr.Clean...what a shitty dream.
