Logo WBW contest

yeah, i find it great, too. but i think it should be something simple, that can be tagged on a wall and can still be recognized...

youre all right, im probably trying too hard. Ill try and keep it simple.

You guys need some input from a designer :

1- For the symbol in a logo to be used independently from it's type, you need 1 billion dollars $$ in advertising, or a hundred years (100), whichever comes first. Think of any symbol you recognize without the type, and think of how long it's been around, or how much money has been pumped worldwide to market it.

2- Yes, a logo needs semantics (sense), otherwise it is only a scribble (a symbol needs to mean something to the people looking at it)

3- It should be drawn in it's simplest form. That meens a logo that only looks good with a bevel and a drop shadow actually sucks.

4- Be recognizable immediately

5- You need to adjust it's design very precisely to make sure it will stand up to it's many usages (silk-screening on t-shirts, huge on a poster, very small on a banner, etc.)

5- Be COMPLETELY original and COMPLETELY different from ANY other logo

I wish I had more time to give this a crack, but I need to work on ongoing contracts.

Oh-- and I beleive the sperm and the like are taken from a font or something, sorry Jack, but I don't beleive someone can come up with these designs (from scratch) with the speed you did.
