However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible.

The names used in the Bible are Babylon , Land of Shinar , and Mesopotamia ... The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris And Euphrates Rivers ..

The name Iraq means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq

And also, This is something to think about:

Since America is typically represented by an eagle.

Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages ....

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

I actually went back and edited that into my post after I originally posted, but decided not to submit it.

As a military member stationed in Iraq, I read your post and don't know whether to laugh or cry at the current condition that Iraq is in.

According to myth, she eventually became a demon (a succubus typed creature) that would sneak into people's homes and steal their children at night since she didn't have any.

In the ancient world people would sing songs to keep her at bay, sort of like a prayer. Thus the term "Lula bye" which is probably the evolution of something similar to "Lilith Be Gone" or some such.

Also, the location of Eden (even in theory) is disputed. Most of the places people think that Eden probably was (if it was even real) match the locations told in the story of Gilgamesh which pre-date the Bible by more than 600 years (in fact the entire story of the Garden of Eden is almost a direct plagiarism of this story).

These "suspected" locations of Eden also, oddly, are very similar to the suspected locations of Atlantis.

It's possible that all three locations are in fact, the same location - by different names.

Iraq sucks. Just thought I'd throw that out there for those who didn't know.
