I may be a little late but Bust, if you're still having trailer light problems and you're sure it's from the car, you can buy a kit at any auto parts store. One end has the two prongs that you hook up to the back of your taillights and the other end is the little prong you hook up to the trailer. Older trucks didn't usually come with the wiring for a trailer and you used to have to hook em' up yourself.
