@ Davey45: I am disappoint.

Snake Bangles.
@ Jullexxx: The lightest.
@ Omuh: Actually most desktops outside of thinware clients have socketed CPUs like yours. The limitation is the chipset and the motherboard itself.
@ BigAndLongPie: Okay, I get what you're putting out as an argument. How about we come to an agreement that they are at an intermediate user? Even still I find it a bit of a stretch unless they have devoted the resources to professional grade hardware and software. The concept of being a serious user is more than just what they accomplish with their machine, it is about how well the understand how it's subsystems function and if they have the experience and capacity to optimize and tweak their hardware and software.

A heavily edited segment of my statements used to illustrate your points to people who have no context is a bit misleading to them.

Okay, this statement makes no sense. Are they saying that I should get into professional gaming because I understand how that community functions? Or because I put down the resources to buy quality hardware like my keyboard which is a Cherry MX Brown switch keyboard which is a near perfect typing experience due to its keycap travel distance, point of actuation, and key response? "He is into functionality and ergonomics, he should become a professional gamer." Where did that leap of logic come from?

Except, it is a real thing and has been used a lot at competitions. You can buy kits, do it at home. Sorry but your friends in the "Information Technology Services" are unaware of what goes on in the enthusiast community.

I'm sure the idea of liquid cooling would blow their minds just as much.

Send what to MI-6 or NSA HR? My statements about what defines computer user grading? Or are you and your friends insinuating that because I know how to program that the governmental agencies would be all over me for my services? Wait, does this mean if I'm good driver that I should getting job applications from F-1 franchaises?

What does Target have to do with anything? This makes no sense, has no context.
Hey F1098, you need to stop eating at Fuddrucker's.
Overall your reply was far worse than I had hoped and wanted. Instead of refuting with reasoning, examples, and sources I get these sad, ineffectual one liners that are incoherent because of lack of context. This is the best stuff your friends can come up with? Not a single technical response, instead just comebacks at a sixth-grader level. I didn't even get a counter argument, just baseless mocking that shows either they have low reading comprehension levels, unaware of their limited scope of computers, or just that underqualified for their positions. I mean you could of taken my questions and put it on YComb or /., and gotten some real arguments back.
