i am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but i figured it was the closest. i am a photographer and want to post some of my photos online. i want to make it harder for people to steal my photos and to mark them so people know they are my work. i have no clue how to do this. any info would be great. thank you.

good luck with it, you can use irfanview for it too, but its a pretty basic way of doing it...plus its good for a few pics, not for a whole folder full of them.

Photoshop will probably allow for the best effect i think, but i havent used mych else

but it will never stop people from cropping it off, unless you place it centrered, but if its too big...it will take a way from the pics awesomeness.

You could try Digimarc, which will leave a digital watermark on it. It wont be visible, but youll always be able to prove it was your work. It will cost you $$$ though as far as i know

i have irfanview and use it to do some effects on my abstract work. how do you use it to to a watermark? tickles wtf? do we really need a demitroll in one of the least used sections of the forum?
