hi,
first the most important thing:
it really makes me sad. for some time now, i guess about two or three months i can't view pics from the forum hosted by wbw (the ones with fullscreen somewhere on the screen) and imagebeaver. if i see something on the beaver, i usually cannot download.
what's wrong with that, can anyone help? i'm not so good at all the computerstuff.

second it's just a general question, maybe someone knows how to fix that: my computer cannot find dvds of games i've just installed. i hope i can descripe this properly, cause my english sucks.
it just says, please insert disc, although its already in the drive. i tried to patch (i tried company of heroes, oppositing fronts) but still nothing.

thanks for any help!

Actually it's only with large pics I get this problem, they will only load about quarter of the way down then it stops.

I get the same problem once in a while and I have yet to find the cause. Typically, this only occurs when I am using my cellular connection. In the past if I wait few minutes, clear my cache and disconnect then reconnect the problem is gone.

It's because you are trying to force too much traffic from them. It seems that they have some sort of meter that just shuts the pics down if you open too many at once (could be a combination of how much it slows down your own connection as well). If the pic loads only partially, just right click on the pic and select "View Image" and then Reload the page when only the pic is in the window. Any time I do this the pics load up for me just fine.

As far as your dvd/cdrom drive is concerned, try reinstalling the drivers for it. You have to find out what make and model it is and just google the drivers for it, the install them.

I am not buying into this theory. As when I see the issue I will just have one window open from the site.

Then I'm wrong.

I just assumed that because I only have the issue when trying to open multiple pics from them at once.

Still, my 'fix' does the trick. Just view the pic via the Right Click menu and they will load no problem.

Q-1 Do you have Ad-Block, better yet what browser do you use, FF has a default "block images from "name of website" you can block and unblock manually, maybe you did it by accident.

Q-2 Part 1 Click on your start menu, click "search" click "all files and folders" enter the name of the game your looking for.

Q-2 Part 2 When saving, make sure you enter a specific folder to save your games into your computers default is usually in the "my downloaded files" folder, or it could be in a number of different folders, the best way to find them is clicking the search function mentioned in part 1.

Your fix does work. It's just an annoyance to have to do that.
