Okay for those of you who know anything about guns, which of the following two do you think is the best:

Glock or Beretta?

I can't stand Glocks... they're just too commonplace. Berettas are alright for people who just want a gun that's decent in all aspects. However, I choose Colt -- that's the true gun among guns.

out of the 2 you listed I would go with the Glock from what I have seen and used its the better of the two...But if I could chose any gun I would go with Colt or Smith & Wesson or if you want to go with the big boy and have the money a .50 Desert Eagle...Taurus or Ruger are not a bad guns and you wont spend as much as you would on the others....It all comes down to how much you want to spend.....

Of the two I'd have to say the glock. It's a tried and tested piece, you can practically put 2000 rounds through it without cleaning it and it'll still fire like a champ. But you never really specified what type of each though. You can't pit a glock 17 next to a M93. so you have any specific glock and beretta in mind?

i was trained at the military version of the usp from H&K in airborne divison. i think its a good one for close combat. otherwise i would prefer the G36.

Well I think would go with the Glock (18C full automatic) because you can do anything to it and it will still shoot. My favourit gun is the HK M23 Socom. The navy seals use it and its the most powerful gun in the world...

Yeah, that's about the only thing I like about Glocks: durability. Mine spent a whole summer in a bucket of salt water; and when I found it, it still worked. Although as a warning to others: don't lose guns, don't lose them in buckets that are kept on your driveway, and do not fire the thing if it's been sitting in salt water for three months! It worked fine, but I should've known better. I like my Colt that I converted into a paintball gun, though Oh, and if we're talking CS: then definitely the Desert Eagle and burn the Glocks.

Hold up, people, let's stay on topic!! Handguns, but pick Glock or Beretta. As for Duderino, you served in the German Army? That rocks!! Yes, personlly I prefer the Beretta over the Glock, but my favorite gun is probably the FN Five-seveN and here's why:

1. Standard clip of 20 round
2. Almost no recoil
3. Penetrates 48 layers of kevlar with no problem
4. Weighs about 1.64 lbs

the glock can handle bad-ass ammo, with a stronger amount of gunpowder... that's why the swedes use it... so we can use our old sm-gun ammo

When it comes down to it the barretta is more wildly used all around the world


HOWEVER : more and more police forces are switching to a Glock.

However the most reliable and oldest gun is a Browining 9mm. Very old VEry reliable and still wildly used


my fave gun would be a C7 ( a M16 for y'all yanks) or a .50 machine gun

between the glock and the beretta, i would choose the beretta. It doesn't feel like a toy, but still has drawbacks. Personally, i would go for the Springfield XD series of pistol. It has the same tolerances as the glock, fires 9mm, .357 sig, and .40 acp. And it doesnt feel like a toy. I bought one about 5 months ago and am extremely pleased. Its safe and reliable, and not to mention much cheaper than a glock. If you are heading toward the glock, check out the springfield xd series.

Don't get a .50 DE if you want to use it as protection. By the time you get one round off and stand back up, you're already full of bullets from a 9. Stick with a baretta, glocks are ghetto guns. If your strapped for cash get a glock then.

My favorite definately is the super soaker. superb action, nice handling...
Why do ya all want gun??? Can't you just beat up somebody, the consequences are far less severe.
