GTA: San Andreas investigated over hidden sex scenes

" Best-selling game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is being investigated in the US over reports that it contains sexually explicit mini-games hidden in its code.
The controversy surrounds a download available on the net which is said to unlock secret sex scenes.
Game makers Rockstar said they were complying with the inquiry, by the industry body that sets age ratings.
If the findings were to lead to an adult-only age rating, it could limit sales from major retail outlets. "

"Software code developed by GTA Dutch fan Patrick Wildenborg is said to have unlocked mini-games in the PC version of San Andreas that allows players to make game characters perform sexually explicit acts."

doesnt it already have an M rating? and wouldnt you think that might have some suggestive material in it?

with the label alone i would be weery to let kids under 18 play it.

The explicit sex would give it an "AO" rating, which means most of the major retailer will not carry it.

It can be done on the PS2 & PC versions (and I'll just assume XBOX), Gamespot confirmed the PS2, using some kind of hacks with a gameshark or action replay or something. Its clear the code was in the game originally, which isn't suprising, what is, is Rockstars flat out lieing about that simple fact.

Personally I think this will get blown out of proportion, but currently it sounds like they (Clinton specifically) wants to imposed something like a $5000 fine for selling M games to minors... I'm all for it personally, what I'm against is the idiots who want to ban these games altogether. There's far worse things in movies and books, and the internet. Anyway that's my two cents. I thought San Andreas deserved an adult rating before the sex thing came up, its simply not a kids game. Its a great game, one of the best in fact, but its not for kids =)

Uhhh... "M" games are already not allowed to be sold to minors. It's the idiot parental units who buy the game without reading about it, thinking it will be all teddy bears and rainbows. Fucking morons need to be shot with rock salt in the ass, or something equally non-lethal but hurts like hell...
