Ghost Recon Favorite Weapon

Yeah, so Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter is coming out soon. Who's up for it? Anybody here even like Ghost Recon?

first of all, the m4 is a good gun, however the oicw with the binocs is the greatest kit in the game. this tandem has helped me kill literally thousands of you guys over the last 2 years (recon, island thunder, recon 2)
blackfalconx is my tag, i'm sure some of you have been killed by me considering i've logged thousands of kills in both team and solo rooms. if you haven't been killed by me yet, it is only a matter of time....(lol)
recon is the greatest game in the history of first person shooters. period. not only has it been a great game, it helped me learn how to dominate the paint ball fields as well, because i play it like i would recon. gotta luv it.

Heh...funny you say that. The OICW (or XM29) was going to replace the M16A3 (or was it A4) in the US Army, but it ran into problems, so they tossed the idea. Now, it's the XM8, which is the main gun in Ghost Recon 2 and from the looks, also Ghost Recon 3. Both the XM29 and the XM8 were designed by Heckler and Koch:

Personally, I don't think it's that great looking. Seems like a G36 (which is badass looking) ripoff.

am those guns look soooo much cooler in real life.

Ghost Recon2 for ps2 sux.The previous games were great and fun to play with the 6 man teams.GR2 dosent have the quick save/quick load
and no checkpoints either.I would get killled at the very end of a mission and have to repeat everything all over again.
But I have been told that the xbox version is much better.

Well, it is a ripoff. It was designed off of the G36, since that is a badass gun. I guess the OICW is just with the new Land Warrior system they are trying to get off the ground. Stupid heavy batteries. I never knew the OICW was slated to replace the M16A3, I figured it wouldn't since it's so damn expensive. Probably 10x more expensive than an M16.

H&K makes the most badass pistol there is, the Mk23 SOCOM.

Note: badass pistol means the pistol with unsurpassed accuracy, reliabiliy, and stopping power in a practical and tactical sense. I know that the Desert Eagle .50 AE has more stopping power, I just wouldn't want myself to be in a situation with only 7 rounds per magazine and probably more stopping power than is required. I'll take .45 with 12 rounds per clip and 30,000 rounds between jams. Too bad this badassness carries around a $2,000-$2,800 pricetag.

simpsons37, you have good taste in weapons, my friend...the Mk.23 also happens to be one of my favorite handguns. Also the FN Five-seveN is bad ass too. Standard clip is 20 rds, 5.7 x 28 mm.

i prefer the BFG2000 with laser scope, night vision, and advanced tracking system....
