it was clear that ferrari and schumacher was not fair enough to agree on the shicane in before the fast part! they are also the only team which does not want to reduce testing and costs! maybe they will soon be the only team! then they will be happy because they win every time!

by the way: maybe the other teams should take legal action against ferrari because of the order that they told barichello not to fight schumacher but to let him win. and this is not allowed!

the rules were to try and level the playing field. Ferrari's budget is far greater than anybody else's and the year in year out Ferrari domination was killing F1, every GP was a yawnfest.

I hope their is a breakaway from the FIA. Ferrari will be left with no one to race and it will be their own fault because they blocked any attempt to give the other teams a chance.

Formula1 is dead. They need to breakaway, I know im sick of the endless meddeling with the rule, the race is so fricking boring. This year is as bad as the ones when ms got a lead and stayed there the whole race.
Im all for not letting teams qualify in a configuration that is designed to survive the test period only. But now they nurse the cars so much to make them last its like watching blue-haired old ladies drive to the store.
Its so bad i didnt even realise there was a gp on today untill i saw it on the bbc news site.

Ha! We have the finest tires in the world - we keep them for ourselves and not let you yankees have them
So what if they explode once or twice, it make race more fun no?

I feel for the fans. An F1 weekend is a very expensive trip. Rules are rules, if Michelin couldn't bring a tire that could last, the track should not be changed to appease them. I think a solution could have been reached for the fans sake, but Max Mosley is out of touch and would not give an inch. It was a sad day for everyone interested in F1. It will be interesting to see how the French fans at Magny-Cours react to the circus that is F1. They may voice their displeasure, or they may applaud Michelin for carrying on the tradition. They made a tire that emulates the French, it surrenders under pressure.

I agree with you nzo, nobody said anything when schu had tire failure in Spain and didn`t race. Michelin wins at 24 hours at Le Mans and can`t make a tire for Indy, It`s sad for all the fans you traveled and spent their hard earned money to see a race. That pic from jsnd is funny as hell.

You are just pissed because the sports governing body is French also. Long live the FIA in Paris!

Don't have to imagine. Bridgestone provided my tickets, which saved me $100... But I showed up at 6pm Saturday and left right after the "race". I didn't buy anything but gas from Wisconsin and three meals, yet the weekend still cost me $300.

Kind of ridiculous, but life's too short. I got to see lots of hot little foreign girls, so that was nice.

i heard that the michelin teams offered to drive the race with tyres they were not supposed to use and to accept the disqualification after the race. just to give the fans a race! but mosley did not accept that.

i think michelin, mosley and ferrari are the main bad players!
