Distraught's Son Minus One

Hey all, my beloved band, Distraught's Son, is now a member short. Today, Feb 9, our vocalist quit the band because he and our drummer can't get along. Still don't know what will happen now. Not sure if we're going to try to continue as DS or quit playing altogether or what. I'll shoot updates at ya as I know more. Just thought since this band is such a huge part of my life I'd share the info with you guys in case anyone cares.

For example, my band started out as a 5 man band. After a year we kicked out one of the guitar players, not only because he sucked but we saw him buying clothes from a store which sells only women clothing. Now our lead vocalist who had also taken the part as the second guitarist is learning how to play the bass because our real bass player has some weird Bob Marley obsessions and is very addicted to various illegal plants.

Sing yourself or force somebody to sing! If the band means anything to you guys, you know it's not worth quitting just because of one member. Keep on rocking!

Dont let one idiot screw up what you and the rest of your band love to do. It will all come together in the end if you really want it. A lot of good and great bands have gone through the same thing just before they got their break. Sometimes you just have to get rid of the dead weight.
