But in that case the guy has not been paying attention.
I have a different kind of situation, but a woman also tried to get me into a situation like that. She was money grazy and wanted to get that by trying to get pregnant very quickly.
But she was out, before she knew it.

I don't get played by anyone, because I keep my eyes open and tell from the beginning what the situation will be.

If she talked about having kids and you are not up to it yet, stay alert, but if the discussion of having kids has never even come up, still remain vigilant, but not paranoid.

Or talk to her and ask her why she wants to stop using condoms and go using the pill.
But know that neither condoms nor the pill are 100 % fullproove against getting pregnant.

There are degrees of trust, so I think your question should be: "Can you trust them absolutely?". The answer is no. Take the most you have ever trusted a man in your life. Cut that in half. That's how much you can trust a woman. The only woman a man can trust completely is his own mother. Women have an evolutionary instinct to do whatever it takes (lying, cheating, stealing) to protect their kids. That is their bottom line. They put the wellbeing of their kids and thus themselves above everything else in life. They will betray everything and anyone else in a heartbeat if they think it will preserve them or the well being of their kids. This is part of every woman's psyche even if she doesn't have kids, that the bottom line is she must look out for herself to survive.

Men on the other hand, maybe as the same function of evolution, see honesty, loyalty and bonding with other men as the keys to their survival. The male psyche sees cooperation with other men in dealing with life's difficulties as a survival mechanism. Because when you go out with the guys in your tribe to hunt a wooly mammoth or repel some invading neighboring tribe, you had damn well better be trusting of the guys you will have to co-operate with to survive the battle or put food in your stomach. Your very lives depend on each other. Since women not generally fought battles or were the hunters in a society, they never needed to establish those kinds of co-operative bonds with those who surronded them so they could survive. So women are evolutionarily more prone to lying and persuing self-interest.

They admit this too. Ever heard one say "It's a woman's perogative to change her mind.". In other words: "It's okay for me to not be expected to live up to my word'". If a man were known for not keeping his word or changing his mind on a whim, he'd be quickly shunned as a pussy-assed lying fuck no one wanted to deal with who was no good at keeping his world.

Tell her you want to see the receipt for the birth control pills. They have to be taken at the exact same time every day, so tell her to make that time when you are most likely to be together so you can see her do it. Spy on the amount of them she has in her purse and make sure she is taking them. And it would also help if you sussed out how she feels about abortion in advance.

my girl does not take the pill. this concerns me. always has. we've used condoms but alot of the times we've played russian roulette
