I've tried most readily available beers (a brown drink)and lagers (lager is the yellow stuff everyone else calls beer) and I will say Boddies isn't a bad old brew. I've tried speckled hen which is another tasty ale and my local Newcastle Brownm Ale. The problem with Newcie Brown is it makes me evil. No, seriously, you really don't want to meet me after drinking a few of them, I just bite heads off and shit down necks My fave is still Theakstons Old Peculiar

more on topic my fave is Hieneken. My brother toured all of europe a few years back he said his fave is franciskaner (I cant spell in english so forgive my bad german) and hefewiezen. He said third best was the fresh Hieniken in amsterdam when he toured the brewery

If you like hangovers and formaldehyde, San Miguel's the beer for you! Many a great night spent in the Phillipines with very cute girls for very little money...drinking that swill and mojo....

If you want wonderful beer anytime, I recommend McEwin's Scotch Ale or Sam Adams Summer Ale...terrific stuff!

From Spain: San Miguel without a doubt. I think the best beers are the european, but i like corona, budweiser and fosters too. i have no spceally favourites, depending on the moment i will like the taste of one or another... it is nice to have a very huge variety of beers coming from many different countries all over the world

but it was free, paid by the boss...at work, so it was good

wow where to begin, in ohio we have a place called great lakes brewing company, they make an oatmeal once a year. best one i have ever had. a very close second is sam smiths oatmeal stout. of course you have to mention guinness, but bemish, in my opinion is a tad bit better.

I'm with Simon about Newcastle. Phillipines beer? Heine light? WTF?

i like stella artois and carlsberg from europe, corona from mexico, brahma from brazil, sapporo from japan. kokanee and alexander keiths from canada
