Your friend did the right thing. When I was young(like 15) a junkie tried jacking me for my money on a bridge, and his ass went right into the December drink.

It can sometimes be hard to tell when someone is talking shit and wont step up or when they are willing to go the distance and pull a knife or gun. I got my way through high school and most of my jobs with my ability to bullshit my through tough situations and have luckily been able to do that in most situations where it looked like fists were gonna fly.

For material objects i think you really have to consider the risks as most times it wont be worth the risk of getting seriously hurt...however if someones life is at risk, then thats a whole other story

If you hurt the first few bad enough, the others will think twice. That shit does not fly. Assholes like that who travel in packs deserve whatever comes around to them. Personally, my dream job would be to be God's chosen instrument of vengence upon such dickwads. It's not so much about the material possessions, because i have very few that i would fight for. It's the mentality that through intimidation and roving in packs, you can do what you wish to people.

just for the record. I sent an e-mail to Zodiac that same day the arguement occured apologizing for accusing him of lying and stating that I was totally wrong the entire time. Not that it makes it any better, but just wanted to clear that up for all the people who were following the arguement and think I'm a dickhead just for the sake of being a dickhead. I wouldn't have accused him of lying if I didn't truly believe he was and have good reason to do so. He proved me wrong, I admitted my mistake and apologized. There's nothin else anyone can do beyond that. I'd also like to thank TheZodiac publicly for accepting my apology and not continuing on with it.

I apologize to everyone in here for actin like a jackass over this stupid ass scooter thing. I was just tryin to crack a couple jokes, not insult an entire race of scooter riding people. Fucking accept that other cultures have differences based on factors such as geographical location, architecture, historical age, climate, and everything else that is dumb enough to potentially differ from America because everything here is perfect, and the rest of the dumbass world has to be this way. Because its the right way, the American way... Because they have their way. Accept it. Boo freaking hoo that they dont eat Super-sized Big Macs, and smoke Camels while drive a Charger to the monster-truck rally.

And you jackasses need to learn to step down at some point. And just accept that its an entirely useless fight. Just drop the issue if for no other reason than the fact that its gonna piss off a mod, and none of you should be aiming to do that. The thought process behind a post in most threads should not be "lets see who I can piss off and to what extent with this post!" Because no matter what goes down, a mod is gonna get annoyed and kick some ass. Because at the end of the day while you all are still flailing at each other like 16year old girls in a cat fight with "Post" buttons, thats what we do. Either you piss us off directly by breaking the rules constantly, or you piss off a fellow member which then pisses us off. And thats when shit gets deleted.

Back to the mugging.

Thats terrible, its a shame to hear of people getting beaten and hospitalized over such trivial matters...
