ok , i have the exact pic i want, i had it on my external, but i thought it was in the database here, so what you think jolly. its in the thread i need a pic ..check it out and tell me if it's usable..thanx

Is this picture to small to make a good size avatar like Latino did with my current one? I have tried to resize it, but I just muck it up. I was thinking of changing from Paris to Anya, but I suck at photoshop. I was thinking of having my name run up & down the unused space on the right side. If anyone can turn this into a good size avatar I would appreciate it. Thanks

awesome Jolly, now i go to edit profile , remove avatar, browse, insert pic, update profile and my old avatar comes up WTF??? Uhhhh, forget i posted this, in my profile it showed the old one, but whn i came to the forum, wallah!! thanks again Jolly(beer)

hit F5 to refresh your cache after you make the switch. But after you change the pic does it say "file to large" at the top or "successfully updated"? If it says successfully then hit f5

Yeah, it'd be a shitty quality if I'm going to resize it to fit the head only. Not a nice touch. But that's not bad either, if you find a better picture maybe it can be done better.

That picture is so color-rich. I needed to compress the picture more than usual. That damn 10kb avatar limit doesn't help at all.
