airplane type- ?

does anyone know the airplane type in this video. i thought it was a t-6 (texas 6) but, i'm not really sure.

Hrm. I think I put my Jane's Aircraft idenfitication book in the basement a while back.

I think you're right that it's a T-6 though. The exhaust right behind the cowling, the cockpit location and the wing attachment point and angle are all the same.

Haha, love how they're looking at modern style charts in a WWII setting (av geek, sorry).

I do believe those are T-6s, as they're probably the only thing of that style that's sill flying more than 1 model in the world (though this video isn't exactly fresh). They're decorated to look like P-47s or 51s, but those cost a lot more to run for a music video - the way the plane sits off the ground and lack of features just screams training airplane, ergo the T-6.

Something else funny to me worth noting - the Nazi plane is also a T-6. I don't recall any of their designs of the time that looked anything like a T-6. Ripe with innaccuracies! Pisses me off!
