age of kings....

does anyone know anything about creating custom campaigns on age of kings? im trying to create my own, but for some reason no matter wht i do i cant get the civilazations to change to what i want them to be....does anyone know how i can do this? for example i click on the players bar and change what i want my players civ to be, but then as soon as i try to place a unit it is always britons for player one and not what i want the other players to be.....this is driving me nuts!!!

all I have to say on this topic is get AGE OF MYTHOLOGY it's so far superior to the rest of the series I have no idea why you ever care how to do anything in any other game in the series
