Just buy and use a laptop with mathcad or similar or any scientific calculation program... and you can look at WBW too whilst you work (With WI-Fi or bluetooth mobile phone modem).

you know i would agree with this except there are just some places you don't want to take a laptop with you. say for instance a swamp that you are doing a site survey on. or the dessert, or.... well i don't know, but i am sure there are more

I don't know how things are in there, but we can't use a laptop in tests

And tests on mathematics and electric works are a bit of a bitch without a graphical calculator..

actually it depends on the class here. most of them though we are allowed to use our laptop to do the math if we really want it.

of course we aren't allowed to connect to the internet or anything and there is a very strict honor system here at my school so if you are caught cheating you will get your ass nailed to the wall, but pretty much no one does cheat either.

but yeah if we want to use Maple or Matlab (2 decent math programs) to do the actual math for us we can.

i own a ti-89 and love it. Unfortunately my professors dont feel the same way and they are basically barred from any math class, so if anyone is reading this and in college make sure you check with your professors before you splurge on an expensive calculator.
Also the 89 and i beleive 92 comes with several engineering apps. I have Electrical Engineering Pro and i know they have a ME Pro.
