Absinthe.

I remember spawning a topic a few weeks ago about marijuana and some of us started talking about absinthe. So I just decided to create this thread about it. Where to get it...What it does... How much to drink...etc. I also want to find different places to buy it for less than the $200 a bottle I spend. anyways, here's a few sites on it. if anyone has any other sites, please post the as well.

The stuff I've had before is called King of Spirits Gold and A friend of mine has Hills absinthe. The first one has 100mg/kg and the second one is 10mg/kg. Not exactly sure what it is or what it means. Is there a huge difference between the two? oh and by the way, uberpervert, my deepest sympathys for you and your little deal you made... I'll have an extra drink just in your honour.

look at eBay, i`m sure you find some good stuff there.

I was getting it for about $90 a bottle. I forget the website and I had to use paypal. the bottle was $35 and the shipping was $45.
you will see it in some liquor stores in the U.S. but they are preety much fakes being that there is no wormwood oil in it.England it is legal but they have really really weak absinthe. the better absinthes come from europe. Spain has a great absinthe. I'm going to amsterdam in July and I'm gonna try and stock up!!

King of spirits gold is stronger than hill but hill's has more wormwood, the stuff that definately makes you horny and arguably make you a halluciante. Good absinthe drink is to poor a large double into half a can of red bull

Sorry geez but i went to prague (where absinth is made) and you can get exactly the same absinth imported Hill's being the bigest czech brand. Anyways didn't see much absinth in amsterdam but good luck with that, maybe you should just get some peyote or pot instead

this links to a site on ebay, but it's all in french so not sure if it's the real stuff. i thought it was still illegal to make the stuff in some parts of europe, but that the best stuff comes from france. hope it helps

I only meant that Iwill be in Europe not that I'm specifically going to amsterdam for absinthe...I'm going for the weed of course!! :P I'll be in Denmark for a day also so maybe I'll find some there.

Ok, now I've got some questions, absinthe, I've heard that it's banned in France because people were dying from it, and also I'm almost positive that absinthe is embalming fluid or formeldahyde(no clue on the spelling), is this true? And is this stuff really worth it? Or can I get a girl just as drunk with Bacardi 151?

Ive seen this stuff in package stores in the US... but its garbage? doesnt contain any of the good stuff? and what are the effects of the drink, how many shots would you need to feel the effects if you had a strong bottle of the stuff?

I ve tried the Staroplzenecky brand enjoyed the taste I once tried a do it yourself Absinthe kit Overall i think its mostly hype. But it sure is fun to light your liquor on fire.
