Oysters are filters-I was watching the NatGeo on N.O.'s the other nite and i was thinking it might not be a good time to eat Gulf raw oysters after Hurricane Katrina for a few years...then just sure as shit some dude just ate 15 dozen of em on TV a few hours ago.

I paid 75 buck once for 5 oysters on the half shell, when I asked to keep the shells for my kids

they said no, that's when I found out that I gave 75 bucks for bottled ones,I was pissed!!!

(I raged so much I got my money back ) (true story)
