Religion sometimes brings bad things in people. Problem is that with most religions you have to be something you can never be, because every human makes mistakes.

It's not about being something you can never be, it's striving to be better as a person. People who do this are wrong no matter what the motives or religion are. Just look at Ireland, Protestants and Catholics going at it like dogs, all over who lives where.

Religion was written long ago as a way to control people and get them to do things they wanted them to. More people have died in the name of God than in any other way.

When will people realise this and give up with religion.

It is a darn shame that so many in this world have twisted religious faith and have had it bent towards fanaticism and terrorism. It is quite unfortunate too, because Jews, Christians and Muslims are ALL children of Abraham. Yet, they are bickering and fighting each other like a bunch of little kids. Whether or not one believes in God, that is entirely up to them, but to use God as an excuse to perpetuate violence and genocide on those who do not exactly agree with you I think is very shallow indeed. One of the biggest reasons why many in the Third World cannot get ahead, because these areas are filled with ages-old religious conflict. Look at the situation over in Kashmir, located in near India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Over there, there is a war between Muslims, Hindus, Bhuddists and a fourth religious group; I forgot their name. I mean, this stuff just continues. Just like most extremism, a lot of this is a result of poverty and a lack of education.
