^^ What he said - those are all great games, and I agree with him on Deus Ex - I *still* replay that game from time to time.
I'm really uncomfortable with third-person shooters - I've never found it intuitive to manoeuvre "over the shoulder" like that. FPS is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned.
That said, there's a really old third-person game that's still really good - that's "Shadowman"... Fantastic gameplay, scary as hell in places, and a great storyline. You should be able to find it in a specials bin somewhere.
Then of course there's the "Splinter Cell" games - they're basically third person, and although the interface is a little annoying, they're still quite playable.
