Isaw a watermark as well. Tell him to use ice (gel pack) with a paper towel between ice and his back Ice at the low back just off to the side of pain. Use the ice for 30 minutes. Put the pack back in the freezer. In 30 minutes repeat..... just keep doing this. Also he should not sit more than 10 minutes an hour. Nor should he bend at the waist to try to stretch as this will only aggravate his sciatic nerve. Anti- inflammatories should be taken, No bending , lifting stooping of any kind. And dont sleep on stomach. Good luck.

And find a chiropractor

Chiropractors can be expensive and useless.

Work out with light weights in a yoga type fashion so as not to put stress on the joints, most movements are meant to come from the mind and the core, breathing is important. Inhale before you lift and exhale when you let go. Eat natural food. Let the muscles build and take over, eventually they will push everything back into alignment. Just remember to take your time stretching. The body heals itself naturally, you just have to look after it.

Dr scrog.

Its funny you mention yoga, because while I love it now, when I first started, I gave myself a major back injury while using a yoga ball. The cure that eventually fixed my back you ask?? Chiropractic and traction. lol.

Also....how did this thread become a convo about Chiropractic?

Well I did say can. They're good but only for extreme cases such as yours. A muchly overused service.

Threadwise I doubt poopie gives a flying rats ass long as there's some shit to read
