It was Vesuvius. Pics were deleted and thread locked. I explained they were pics of my wife that I took and he told me to link to them............all the usuall stuff or he said I could take a picture of her holding a sign explaining the situation. This was months ago, I got pissed and left. I just came back because I'm bored and had some time.

Actually they were pretty tame, average looking woman. Older pics when a bush was the norm. No biggie. I found a place where they are appreciated and welcomed. With all the members here my stuff will not be missed.

i dont believe Vesuvius requested you to take a pic of her holding a sign to unlock the thread. i think he left it as possibility.

I normally just request a link to a page where they are shown or some kind of evidence if they look really pro. or ask for a model name and search for it. I am pretty sure none of us NPB Mods would request you to take a pic of her holding a sign. so i guess this was more a misunderstanding.

Really no biggie, just a PITA to post something in a forum that would hopefully bring more traffic and have it removed. Obviously you can afford to make your members jump through hoops and delete threads for such trivial reasons. I have posted using Imagevenue and didn't mind when it was the only option and I like the forum. Here it is a matter of principle I am a very good photographer and wanted to share some of my work but because it is too "good" I am rejected. Sorry for the trouble, I know now wher to post my old polaroids if I need someplace.

He gave you the choice to either prove that you own the copyright in any way or just hotlink them. Does it just take to much to hotlink them?

We have to be really hard with copyright infrigments as the owner of this page could be sued for copyright infrigment and we wouldnt want the page go down because of this.

So please take a few minutes to hotlink the pics and we all can live in peace


oh and could you give us all an example of what you posted so we all better know what this is about?

I do get it. And as a professional I can appreciate where you are coming from. My work is usually welcomed, here with no warning it was deleted and locked. I was offended, no notice, nothing, to top it off, it was my wife. If I wanted to post pics of others it would be impossible unless I spend the time to hotlink. Why bother, whats in it for me. Oh well you can't please everyone and obviously you are pleasing the majority and keeping the lawyers happy. Your loss.
