My '99 Acura TL(141K miles) has dropped to the 24-25 mpg in daily driving, and 27-28 mpg in highway driving.
The POS '96 Dodge Insipid(3.5L V-6, 203K miles) is lucky to see 21-22 mpg this time of year. About 24-25 mpg on the highway.
Thank God both a long paid for and gas is down to $1.899.

I have a 2005 Ford Taurus. I've never actually checked the mileage, but the dashboard computer tells me it's 17.5!! Could be better, I think. It's only a 3.2 liter V-6.

My 2004 Dodge Intrepid SXT gets about 24 mpg highway which is pretty good considering it's got a high output 3.5l engine and I don't exactly have a light foot.
My wife's 1995 Dodge Intrepid gets just over 30 mpg highway with the 3.3l engine.
demonicmale i have a'97 f350 powerstroke 4 door 4x4 that gets the same mileage and only 140k on it. i also have '75 f350 dually dump with a 360 ci that also gets about 5 mpg. thought it was cool that we have the same trucks.
RainbowDemon, your Taurus should be getting more than 17.5. Did it do a lot better in the summer?
It's not cold here yet, but my cherokee is getting about 18 mpg overall.
i quit driving my '83 chev pick up last year. 9 mpg 350ci 4bbl with 60,000 mi, so it sits parked in my back yard.
and gas here is still around $2.25/gal. we're getting ripped off.

The vehicle I have with the best mileage is a 1993 GMC 4X4 short bed pickup it gets 16.5 MPG, Ford F150 about 14.5, 2002 Ford Expedition 13.6, 2007 Escaalde 16.1 1963 Corvette about 8 MPG.
my jeep gets about 18 mpg... my 1971 camaro, when we had it on the street got about 2 1/2 to 3 mpg... and the camaro ran on 116 octant that cost $65.00 dollars for 5 gallons....
2006 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab NISMO is avg 16.5 per tank but when most of the mileage is highway I get about 18.5 while avg 72 mph. Love that 4.0L V6, good power and good gas mileage.
Also have a 2005 XTerra with same drivetrain and Miss LeadFoot is avg 18mpg per tankful and mostly rush hour stop and go traffic.
Let Detroit fail as Smyrna, TN does it better.
Just got my car back from the shop (yay new axle, tires and coolant system & alignment; boo money), so I'll get an estimate in a couple days.
I hit the highway for about 30-50 miles a day going to/from school, so I get decent mileage.
