Is that sube for real? That's pretty nutz if colorado actually uses that as a new patrol car! Scary though, cuz the cops will have a mean machine to use to chase you down!

The car is not a real patrol car. It was a car built for publicity, etc. Ive seen it around here a few times.

To think if they hide the lights who would have thought a WRX pulling your ass over? They would catch a lot of people at first. And if they try to go off road WRX can go too. XD

Thanks to the DARE program...alot of seized cars end up with a new paint scheme and become police property.

Example: The Miami Police and California Hwy. Patrol have Corvettes.
The Nashville Police has a blown 5.0 Mustang.
The Cobb County Sheriff (Georgia) have police package Camaro Z28's.

It's like that too in Hawaii. Cops here are get their private vehicles commissioned, resulting in a bit of extra pay i believe. So there are boatloads of cops in Hawaii with newer mustangs, camaros, durangos, pathfinders, (basically the range of suvs), I've even seen a few driving new maximas and G35's. It's crazy. I think there are specific requirements or guidelines a car needs to have in order to be used for police work in Hawaii though. Come to think of it I'm suprised they aren't using the WRX or STI's here.

The finnish high-way patrol police just got a new Jaguar X-Type R from a magazine to honour their birthday (the magazine had the birthday and tey gave the police a car)

In the Uk they have upgraded the police vehicles to mountain bikes with TEN gears (used to be five!!)

And their helmets have stripes on them too!!!

And they will be getting bigger batons with which to hit the bad guys with uzi's!!!!
