they are putting it on race cars...it looks like paint, and if you plan on changing paint jobs it's probably easier to do... i just thaught it was kind of cool...

That is some cool stuff, I have a friend that did that stuff, from printing it to sticking it.. pretty cool to see.

I've seen this before on either Hotrod Tv or Horsepower Tv a long time ago when they wrapped a early '70's Nova. I wonder what the ratio in cost difference is over a new paint job.

they use a huge printer, then stick it on like decals..

it's not only the cost, but if you race cars and change sponsors, or crash into a wall with one side of the car... what will be cheaper to fix ???here is one site, www.ragewraps.com ...

Would be good for racing but how durable is it? I wouldn't do it to my own car unless I ran that business and could redo it every 12 months for free

the jeep in the pics was just redone... last time it was wraped was 3 years ago... it was still good, but he wanted a change...

That skull would cost in the neighborhood of $2500 to $3500 for an artist to come in and airbrush it on, not counting the actual color coat of paint. You could probably get the wrap done for 400 to 500. So cost is a huge, as far as durability, they are supposed to be extremely durable, would basically take a knife point to tear into the decal, and that would ruin a custom paint job same as it would a wrap.

the wrapping is pretty cool but there are just so many ways to do it...
