i don't like japanese cars in general...
in my opinion it's for those guys who work 9to5 in a boring office and need a car to "keep up with the johnsons"...

and now i'm on it, why not destroy economics!
eurpeans MUST drive european cars; Japanese people, Japanese, and so and so on
but although i live in belgium, my budget doesn't allow me to buy a Gillet Vertigo... i just stick to the XM from Citroën

I've got an 01 Integra. It's been mildly modified in it's time. I've grown tired of it though. Looking to go for something new when the time comes.

It becomes which model is built in Japan, which in the US. My brother is an exec with Honda of America and has been building all the Accords and Civics sold in the US for more than a decade. They also build several other models and have boht a small engine plant and a motorcycle plant...all in central Ohio.

and what bearing does that have AT ALL on whether it is a Japanese car anymore? all the the engineering and design for the automobile was done by the Japanese automanufacturer, therefore it is Japanese. If there was a Honda plant in, say, Korea, would it still not be a japanese car in your eyes? there may be different specs of the models, suited either toward the US or Japanese Markets, but it is still a Japanese car.
