Here are a few pics of my 2004 Chevy Corvette Conv. Please tell me what you think

Good lookin car. Yellow is a great color. My friend has a yellow z71, its awesome.

it's a corvette...
not very stable at it's high speed
it's good car if you have about 35,000 to blow on a vehicle that was meant for a 1/4 mile drag
the puss--iblitiies with a corvette are a lot lower than what you would get with an import in the same price range
it's a gas guzzler with a 350 rated at about 350 to 400 ft/lb.s of torque depending on the version you get
at a mere 175 miles per hour and 16.5 miles to gallon, it just makes more sense to me to buy an import where you can easily acheive 140 mile per hour and get 30 miles to the gallon
in short the corvette is a status symbol for rich kids and stupid working males who don't have anything better to do with their money

sorry you think that it is a bad car. This car has torque just passed idle and does not stop until red line. The imports have to get very close to red just to see torque. The commet about the gas. At 90 i average about 28 to 29 must imports can not say that if the have the same horsepower and torque numbers.

vetts are over rated, sorry dude. just like the body style never changes in the +50 yrs of the car, are we on body style #6 or 7? but they are iconic cars... well have fun with ur new play toy

Me used to think Chevy was the cats pajammas but then I bought a chevy. All of the following are design flaws or factory defects:

1. Blinker wiring replaced 4 times before it worked (dealership repairs)
2. Gas door lost tension mechanism (not covered under any warrenty), and they said it was my fault.
3. transmission blew after 2 years (I do regular maintience)
4. Sparkplugs have to be done at dealship, cost $ 150.00, takes 9 hours. you cant get to them w/o taking many componets
off with GM specific tools.
5. factory battery started leaking fumes and destroyed the battery cables
6. Came w/ a tape player in case I want to take a time machine back to 1986 and get my "recored off the radio tapes"
7. don't include skid plates for 4-WD vehicles.

What did I learn? I'll never buy an America vehicle again.

your single experience with a chevy vehicle should not dub all American vehicles as junk.
I know two guys...
one with a dodge caravan 175k miles runs great
one with a dodge ram with 300k+ miles runs superb.....

regular maintenance and a few small fixes was all that both vehicle have ever had.
Don't knock American automobiles in general until you've driven them.

what do you drive? I like the corvette. And imports are just as unstable at highspeeds as the corvette, more so in fact, the corvette has a larger wheel base and a lower stance. Incase you are wondering i drive a camaro, also by chevy, never had a problem with it. oh and as for the part about why buy a corvette, maybe style. See the corvette exudes an aura of speed, but looks good doing it. MOST imports do not, I know that some do, but i think you buy a car based on how the look of the car is, and then the power unless you are trying for a racecar.

I like your vette I do like the look of the lambo doors too. I was wondering if it is a stick or not?? If it's a stick then yeah I really like it.. if it's not.. then it's not really what i like

650 Hp is gonna be sick!! You might want to look into getting brembo brakes or another good set if you haven't already.

If it's an automatic I hope you have a shift kit in there too!.

It is a 6 Speed Manual it has 3.42 gears

I will have a set put on when i do the kit also alot of other things. I will post it again when it is done.

the doors are cool until you get into a parking garage
