I drive a 1990 Pontiac 6000 and a 1969 Chevy Sport Van. And I also have an 89 S-10. My car sucks, my truck sucks, but the van is going to rock as soon as it's painted.

Heh thanks for the comp, I like your Camaro its badass. Anyways, I got the engine for free, I work at a junk yard. We had this totalled 99 vette sitting in the back and I checked on the computer what was left on it. Turns out, we got it for 800 bucks and we made over 3 grand on parts so I told my boss I was gonna take the engine and he didn't seem to have a problem with it. I probably got 2 grand into mods though, still need to get a final dyno at a friends shop. The best thing about my truck, even though the exhaust is fucking loud, people think its just a slow s10.. One guy even said 'Its just an s10, i'll fucking blow his doors off'.. Its funny how mustang gt's aren't as fast as they look. The look on that guys face, i'll never forget it. Imagine someone pulling out a shotgun and putting it to your only child, that was the look.

Mustangs are real overrated. I murder stangs in my car. Dont get me wrong, there are some fast ones out there. but the average guy you see just has exhaust and a cold air induction then they think they are big time and run their mouth. Thats how it is here anyways.

95% of all mustang owners are wannabes who buy a nicely powered stock vehicle. The other 5% are the smart guys who have a base to build on and know what the fuck their talking about. In all my experiences, i've only come upon maybe 3 guys like that. I like mustang owners, they keep my tank full and food on my plate

! There are a few fast ponies around my way. This one guy has a twin turbo 306 Mustang and a few others making over 700hp! Most of them are drag cars though, you dont see em much on the street.

I know most of the wannabes around here that have mustangs think they can race.. I used to blow them away in my shitty Corsica 2.8 V6. People grow up hearing their parents talk about how great mustangs are and then they think the new ones are equals. Like you guys said, some of them are fast but most of them are sold to people who buy the name...

Hehe, my dad never said mustangs were fast.. He still has 2 68 charger rt's at the shop.. One of them has a 440 with 900 something horse. That car is sickeningly fast and no mustang can touch it around here

//edit: wait mybad, hes got an rt and just a charger.. the rt is the fast one the vanilla is just stock at 327 hp I think.
