well ofcourse it does... the supercharger runs off ur belts, soo by the time ur turbo spools up, u'll have some boost from the Sp.

the advatages of doing this are very small, when you get into the details of the paracitic loads that the turbo and the supercharger put on the engine.
you also then get into a a push me pull me situation when the turbo spins up, with the supercharger often starving the turbo of much needed air flow, then there is off bost air flow.

there is a car ill try and find a link that uses the same priciple on a volvo 2.5 engine which produces around 600hp.

Well, there's got to be some advantages since they put it into production. I hope it turns out well... small engines with lots of power are awesome.

I heard of this being done.... but never have seen it...

I'm sure in the hands of most people... this engine will not last all that long.

expensive to maintain as well.. anytime you have a turbo or supercharger... you need to use synthetic oil.. and change it at least every 5k miles.

Great if you have a ton of money... really it's just somthing else to maintain and deal with possibly breaking. But I love the idea.

yea but since it made it into production, they also made sure ppl wont b thinkn that thus covered under bumper to bumper warranty, and the car computer prolly shuts off the Sp after the turbo reaches its proper rpm ( for spooling ). And common its german they think of everything believe theyve tested this.
