UK drivers get ready to bend over

The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to
purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it.
The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC,
the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery
driver.
A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in
one month.
On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will
know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been
going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit you can expect a
NIP with your monthly bill.

What kind of big brother shit is this? Let me guess...it's for "safety".

We hear that sort of bullshit over here in The States, monitoring our phone calls "to keep America safe".

I'm sure every other 300 pound soccer mom over here would love to have such a device on their cars. We have something similar called "On Star", but it's by choice, however I wouldn't doubt such a device won't become standard on our cars within 10 years.

and to be honest i really don't wanna know where i've been sometimes, so what's some dude behind a screen has got to do with where i'm goin'...
i hope belgium is smart enough to keep the taxes the way they are...
