truck boat

I dont know the actual name of this vehicle but my girl called it a truck boat.
This thing would haul equipment and workers out to a construction barge where the cranes were working on a pier.
Im sure it didnt have any suspension whatsoever cause the wheel wells were sealed and it bounced like hell on the beach when it came ashore.It was kinda fun watching it go back and forth into the ocean.And I was amazed at the stuff it could haul.
They had a tractor on shore with 2 big forks that loaded it .
Im wondering whats the name of it.Any links or info is appreciated........
