I plan to have my nova running right and looking good in 5 years (ish) What I want to do is I want to finish getting all the rust out of the interior and then fix the weather-stripping on the doors and on the all the windows so no water can get into the car I would like to have a cut pile carpet for the floor and accent/map lighting in the B pillars. I would like to install in to a freshly repainted dash a satellite radio with six speakers two in the kick panel area, two on the rear shelf, and two tweeters on the A pillar next to the new headliner. Also power door locks and shaved door handles on the back doors with door poppers. New seat coverings, new door panels front and rear, a wood steering wheel and with a tach hanging off the bottom of the steering column. Volt, oil pressure, trans temp, coolant temp and a few other gages will be in sight of each other. On the outside a paint job that is the original Cortez silver. I would like to put on American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels with all wheels disc brakes. Under the hood a Turbo hydromatic 350 bolted to the original 307 c.i. V8 with fuel injection, headers, Vortec heads, and a mild cam. The stock hood if everything will fit under it if not maybe a shaker hood. Also redo the trunk to hold a jack, a tool box and a small air compressor. If a part on the car is not mentioned it will stay stock

I've got a Jetta 1.8T wolfsburg edition, only a K&N air filter now but exhaust is on the way and other plans also, it sucks being broke and not able to pay for new car parts.

Currently working on my 01 Integra. It was modded earlier in its life with a few suspension mods, Koni Yellow struts, H&R race springs, but I returned her to stock when she lost a fight with a mean pothole. (Bent a rim, completely blew a strut, + some random hardware MIA).
Now I'm back to lightly modding her again. Bought a few parts lately. Going to open up her airways with an SRI, DC 4-2-1 header, and a full cat back exhaust at 2.25" I also need to get a hi-flow cat, else the newly opened exhaust will still be choked off at that point. I also purchased some new springs, my old setup was nice and could have been really aggressive with a few more parts but decided that this time around I'd go with something a little less stiff. So I have some Tanabe NF series springs that only raise the spring rate by 10% if I remember correctly. (My last setup more than doubled the stock rate!)
That's it for now. I don't plan on going too far with her now. Money is a big restricting factor! But...I love my hobby though!

I am still working on my 86 camaro which I bought in Nov. of 2003. I started work on it around mid dec. of 2003 and got it legal to drive in May of 2004. I have complete pictures from beginning til now on my cardomain webpage. It can be found here: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/509905
I had to get started by getting it running. I had plans of buying it for just a project and play toy considering I had a 76 c10 chevy pickup that had every panel on it rusted badly, but had a nice 350 me and my dad built a few years before. I inteneded on dropping it in my new camaro. I haven't gotten around to it yet because we made it our daily driver in May, and began repainting and addressing issues on our 92 s10. The guy I bought it from was a friend of mine who ran it bone dry on gas, then couldn't get it started. I got to messing around one day and found a fuel bleeder on back of the intake, to purge the fuel injectors. I then threw in a battery, about 5 gallons of gas, had my dad hold down the vlave while I cranked it. After a minute or so and some TPS adjustment it started up and ran like a beast. The exhuast had been cut at the y pipe so it woek up my neighborhood and had everyone out looking.
After that all the body work began, grinding off surface rust, fixing dents, stripping old chipped, cracked, and flaking off paint to make it smooth for new paint. That was followed by primer, then found more lil nicks and spots here and there that needed attention so I had to fix thoose and reprimer everything, that happened 3 or 4 times, when I was done I had about 3 or 4 full gallons of primer on the car. I then done my hood, I couldn't afford 500+ and 100+ for freight charges of a ram air hood so I found a hood scoop and molded it on myself. I ended up w/ a custom hood no one else had on a 3rd generation camaro.
Some like it some don't, I like it because its unique and it was all done by myself. Afterwards it was all painted w/ a silver metallic paint. I loved metalic so I had them put as much as you possibly could in it, now I wished I hadn't. It has some issues and spots that aren't pefect and look weird in some lights at some angles but its pretty good.
While this was going on I was redoing the seats, headliner, carpet and pretty much everything on the inside as well. Repainting parts, replacing others. I then added a nice stereo setup, which included new pioneer 4x6's in the dash, 6x9's in their factory locations which is called a sail panel, a jvc head unit, a pair of oz audio 10's and a kenwood 600 watt amp.
There was plenty more I would have liked to done to it, but we got excited and wanted to put it on the road. Once on the road I had bugs to work out and things to replace, like exhuast, shocks and struts, power steering pump, and lines, brakes. All kinds of odds and ends things to do. I had to rewire the heater, put in a new wiper motor and still have to put in a wiper switch because they don't turn on right. Somebody really hacked the wiring before I got it.
I bought brand new cragar ss rims and tires for it only to find out they wouldn't fit because of the reversed offset wheels which I ordered because I love the fat chrome lip look they have. So I found a set of old school appliance mags which haven't been made in years and bought them and put on.
There is many more things I am going to add and redo this spring, and now that I have a good digital camera I can take good pics of the progress. Most of my during process pics where crappy due to my old camera and having to scan the others.
All of the work done on my car was done by me and I was guided and helped by my dad. Mostly in a garage we used to use under the house next door to use or right out side in the driveway.
