Well the time has come, i am getting rid of my 1994 Chevrolet K1500 4x4 Pickup truck.

What shall take its place though?

The decision is between a 1992 Twin Turbo Supra
or a Modified 1996 Honda Prelude Single turbo setup

I am pushing toward the 1992 Twin Turbo Supra with a 5 speed manual tranny, Sure it has not been modified, it has 96,000 miles on it and seems to be in perfect condition, i test drove it and it runs great and will haul ass, does not leak oil, no smoke, interior is in near mint condition besides a soda stain on the back seat which can be cleaned. And the paint is perfect no scratchs or anything, As it was repainted about a year ago and not driven a great deal.

The 1996 Honda Prelude runs pretty damn good, and the exterior is awesome but the interior has not been finished yet, But i do not like buying a car that someone else has modified the engine because i do not know the level of there expertise and it may lead to problems down the road because of there modifications

What would you shoot for? The Supra or the Prelude
The Supra seems to me to be the better deal
The prelude would smoke it on accelation and speed

Price: 6500 for the Supra
11,000 for the Prelude

Keep in mind Both of those cars have been beaten on badly... You need to meet with the owners and see what they are like.

Im a honda fan through and through, but I would gto with the supra... as you said the prelude has been modified. I look at it like this... do you really want someone elses project car or start your own? You know they have played around in the prelude in the past due to the fact that it was modified, especially a turbo... hell I even try to stay away from car that have after market rims on them... any mod on a car is a ? to me...

thats my opinion...

Well i have driven both cars, The supra seemed damn near mint, I have ran a car fax on the Supra and it came back clean. I think im going to end up buying it. The prelude drove and handled great but i dont know what they put it threw

Guy that owns supra - Single owner - 41 year old man with money, he has more toys than he knows what to do with

Prelude - 27 year old " tuner " type guy, probably raced the prelude.
