Great Camero GIT GIT GIT YEE HAWH!!!!! As for Ricers people say their cars are unique and one of a kind. It's not true most have the exact same mods. Making them the SAME and not unique. Trust me this is coming from a person who used to be in a Lowrider club in 1993. I had a 1990 Nissan Sentra with Star rims (not 20" though) and ground effects amoung other mods. Most people hated it becaust it didn't have spoked rims and hydraulics. I liked it cause it was different. I am not saying I started ricer style cause I got Ideas from other cars I had seen in magazines. At the time it was unique for where I lived. My point if you're not going CUSTOMIZE your car then just save the money and buy a new sports car that looks the same as the rest.

You know I am not so much about the engine tuning, well I won`t deny to do it, but it`s much more money. I like more the interior and mostly the exterior changes. Like, for example paint, spoilers, rims, tires, exhausts, defenses and this kind of stuff. I mean with carbon the car loses its luxury things. I mean lowering the weight...

I hate lil ricer cars, nothig nworse than teh damn kids around here that get mommies old civic and do all kinda work on it and wanna street race. Then you pull up in you V8 powere sports car and the complain that they won't race you cause it has twice the size engine. I laugh at them everytime i hear their annoying exhaust. Haven't lost to a single import yet..... then again I am driving a mullet mobile.

Here is my ricer, enjoy

It's easy to be Finnish citizen, all cars that we have here are imports so we really don't have to fight that battle "rice vs. americans". But I have to say that most our cars are rice, hell, if you drive Mustang here - every fucking idiot is drooling when you pass them...

So welcome to Finland! In this fucking country, every car with two doors is a sports car!

that's a nice 240 app. Very clean for its age! Way to keep it up man.

And not to start any debates graves, but seriously its twice the engine. in an off comparison thats like pitting a flyweight boxer against a heavyweight one. i agree with you though, those kids do get annoying. I own an import but most of them have this lego building mentality when it comes to modding their cars. Its like if i bolt on this, then this, i'll make this much power. which in most cases is horse shit. They fail in taking the time to learn to do it right and wasting money rather than setting a plan that will yield better results for whatever they're trying to do.

Thanks phenom, actually it's 200SX. Similar body with 240SX but different engine. It's equipped with 1.8 litre motor, with turbo. American model 240 is 2.4 litre, without turbo. Then there is Japanese model 180SX (Silvia). Anyway, I like rice

I did some competition with Camaro today, WRUUUUUMM - he's gone...

lol. I'm sorry. I'm sporadically stupid sometimes. And I knew it said 200sx at the top of the page you linked but still said 240. I'm a nut. Anyway, yours still looks awesome for the year it is! It would be nearly impossible to find one in that condition here in Hawaii. How many miles or km do you have on her?

Just checked, 120512 km today. Not much.

I have service history from previous owner, it's perfect. Anyway, this all "stock" going to end next winter. I'm gonna tune this baby for good. From outside i'm gonna keep it like now, but under hood... NOT!

Maybe something like this: http://www.saunalahti.fi/~laakkius/lakes13/index.html also a Finnish car.

Who cares what a car looks like as long as it's FAST?

The car in that link looks good. Simple, clean styling. What are your plans for after that winter? Since she's stock turbo'ed you've got alot of options!

I agree with you uberpervert, but there are some cats out there who are about "show," others about "go." And then there are those who are about both!

You have to give people credit if they do a car RIGHT. That is if a car needs a spoiler two feet high then it better be able to back it up. If you have fifty stickers you better drag race it to get sponsorship money.
Here are a couple of "Rice inspired pics"

my engine has 5.7 liters. thats 3 times the mountain dew. But i prefer pepsi. Cause mountain dew will make you steril. In other news though. Umm, i know i replied to this topic before but since it's back on the front page here we go again. The thing that gets me the most about "ricers" is that most of the guys who mod their cars think they are the shit because they went to a shop and bought a bodykit for 10 grand and had the shop put it on. But a muscle car man buys a 10 grand engine and puts it in at home with his buddies, his neighbors and anyone who loves cars.

i agree with ya cheater. As long as its done RIGHT. btw, funny pics!
I hear you too juicypat. I use to be into the import scene. I hated when some cat would say something like you mentioned, "I went to this shop spent xxx dollars and they installed my exhaust!" I wrenched on my own car, i did the work that i could. I think there is so much more appreciation and satisfaction when you put in your own elbow grease.

a car is to get you from point a to point z, and everwhere in between,,, what is with people and their need to put lights, headers, coffee can tailpipes, and all that other tricked out gear on their cars? does it make it sprout wings and fly? does it magically do the dishes? what?

I drive chevy Avalanche, I got it specially made as a propane/electric hybrid, I keep it washed, the interior clean, and regularly serviced,, this to me, is all that needs to be done to a vehicle, keep it maintained, and keep it cleaned, all that other stuff is a waste of time, resources and money.

If you drive a chevy avalanche you need to shut the hell up. Anyone stupid enough to buy that car should be shot and thanks to people like you honda thought it would be a good idea to build that god awful ridgeline. thanks alot pal.

How would you like a car that pushed out a dyno chart like this?
What if someone told you it was an integra? just my .02cents

what if i told u any car can make any amount of horsepower?...u think 350 horse is a lot for an integra? ive seen a .7L one cylinder quad push 130hp AT THE WHEEL...

(old thread revived. heh )

i agree with you goatman. Any car could possibly make that power. My point now is that the alot of work and $$$ goes into building cars like the ones we've mentioned, now just to label them as ricers is unacceptable in my opinion.

Take your .7L w/ 130hp or that teg w/ 350hp. What if someone just slapped a bunch of stickers and different styling mods, etc on another teg and another .7L car you mentioned and claimed them in the same class as these power producing monsters? You might have to disagree with 'em right? I would.

No one can really judge an entire species (cars in this matter) by a few of its worse specimens ("ricers".
