I love the looks of this crossover. Plenty roomy inside, too. Adequate power for the mountains of Arizona and Nevada. Decent mpg for a 4000+ pound vehicle, too: 24-25 mpg highway and 21-22 in daily driving.
Not as finely finished inside as a Toyota or Honda, but very rattle free.
Took the Edge offroad a couple times and it did just fine, though we weren't boulder hopping, just driving on barely maintained mining trails. Adequate ground clearance for trail driving.
Gas prices in Arizona were a shocker: $1.979 was considered a bargain. NW Ohio prices were in the $1.60 range at the time.
If only the Arizona HP and assorted County Mounties weren't such pricks. Saw speed cams everywhere. In past trips to Arizona(north of Phoenix area) state dicks were a rare sight. Not this time. State budgets woes I was told. Have to make up tax revenue shortfalls somehow.
