Some of you seem fairly well versed in finding odd and or rare parts cars. So I have one question where in the god forsaken world can i find a "new" original spoiler for my 1986 Trans Am. From what i have found the 86 models were the only ones to the said spoiler type. 85's hade generic firebird spoilers and 87's had the brake light moved from the top of the hatch to center of the spoiler. Please help!!!

I don't know what you mean by "new" original. By this I assume you mean aftermarket but identical ?

Without knowing where you are or where you have tried, I asked a buddy of mine who is a "F" body guy who collects camaros and he said to try F Body Motorsports in Charlotte, NC. They should be able to help you. Hopefully this helps.

EDIT: www.fbodymotorsports.com

yes it looks like that and you were right about the aftermarket but identical.
I'm in Charleston, SC so Charlotte not that far.
I had tried most of the major F-body specialty groups like YearOne. Thanks

Good luck. If they can't help, let me know and I will ask again. I think there was a custom shop in California that he used as well. Cheers.

I love F Body muscle cars, Irocs and TA's from the late eighties, but are they considered classics already?
