Dude, I've got a fullsize, V8 Chevrolet truck. 4X4.

I pay roughly $290 USD every 3 months. Right at $100/month. $1200/year.

I've had the truck 4 years and my insurance has dropped $0.55 per statemnet, per year. Tell me I aint getting fucked.

So, that's $6000 USD that I have paid for absolutely nothing. Now watch me total the bitch out on my way to work in the morning.

My insurance is less than $700.00 a year full coverage with all sorts of riders. Than again when I was 21 insurance was $1400.00 every six months. I also had a DMV record that I could hold up (8 ft) and it would unfurl down and then out another 6 or so feet. Probation license for 5 years (2 no driving and 3 limited use). Then I grew up.

Still drive fast but I know when to kick back and let the other guy get nabbed. Besides, pickup trucks are work vehicles and rockets get tagged.

check on multi car if you have more than 1 car or if you live with your parents or a relative. Also if you own a home you can get a better rate if you use same company for both. Also you can get a good student or steer clear if you are with State Farm. These help in your rates

I kmow I shouldn't say this but I don't even have insurance right now, actually not for a while, but the DMV doesn't seem to know about it yet.

I'm paying 150 US / Month. That's with 1/2 a mil not counting the balloon. Could be worse I suppose. Gas could be 2.90/gallon.

My wife and I pay $220/month, for a 2003 custom Dodge Ram and a 2004 Toyota RAV4. The 68 vette is $216/year. Before I got married, I was paying $245/month for the Ram alone. That's with the multiple car discount, good driver, good credit, and homeowner's policy bundled in.

My 2000 Silverado 4X4 costs me 127 bucks a month for full coverage...and my honda CBR600RR costs me 256 a year. This is all at a tender age of 21 with clean driving records. My insurance actually went up 10 bucks when i upgraded from a 2002 S10 that was "deep cherry red" looked more maroon than red, rotten bastards. How can they charge extra for the color just because its red??? Anyways my pickup is white now, 5.3L V8 and insurance went up!
