my uncle used to have a 70ish stingray he had modded, he has the pictures of the 350 block in the machine shop getting the cylinders bored, heads being polished etc. had a muncee rock crusher, elderbrock carb, more i just cant remember.........he said shifting into second and dumping the clutch made the whole rear end just fishtail like hell
my dad used to have a late version z/28 and an el camino after that.....

At £1500 it will no doubt need work.....but what the hell i say.......do really think i should live my dreams?? or wake up and smell the wisky

1984 PORSCHE 928 FH 2dr Gt Coupe,
Petrol, 80,000 miles, . lhd manual,p/plate,metallic blue,e/seats,e/roof,a/c, mot just expired, bargain at just £1500. £1,500. no offers.

oh and it will be given ++speed++freak++ treatment with more power

i have worked on many of these cars...i personally love them BUT....they have chronic problems....mostly transmission and air conditioning....and the parts are expensive and the labor to fix it is worse....the porsche 928 is not a car for a do it yourself mechanic unless you lots of time and money......that being said.....i think you might be better off with the 911 type.....the motors on these are a lttle easier to work on....
