One reason to check granny's garage for an old car....

I was checking out Astons today. That explains the other thread. Well I can across this and thought it was absolutely beautiful. It is the 1961 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato.

I'm talking about the car. I was looking into restorations a while back and was looking for old cars that could be restored. Well here's the deal with this.

It's out of my price range...... 700,000 to 800,000 GBP was the stimated price at auction last month. It sold. One in Arizona sold for over 1.2 million USD 2 years back so that is not all that out of line.

I doubt that granny has one of these in her garage b/c only 19 were made but more than one is unaccounted for.

I have done two restorations over the years and I think its a great time. Fun and satisfying.




EDIT: Not Astons. A little out of my range in the US but hope springs eternal. Maybe on a trip to Britannia one day.

Seeing as you guys love the Aston Martin So much, I thought you'd like a look at a more modern one at the Le Mans 24hr race this year.......
