Need A Little Help :D

Hey, I'm trying to find the best car Possible For High Performance Tuning (inside AND Outside) Perf & Ice
I'm thinking of A Honda Prelude, They Don't cost much And You can get Allot of Goods For it (turbo's Manifolds, Geaboxes. Airflow, (N2O) etc etc...
But is There a Car Who's better for the job, and Has the same COST ratio, (i Dont want it to be A Very Expensive car) + Tuning ratio, That i can get allot of Goodies 4 my car..??

Nissan Skyline i´ve seen soom wicked pic of that car. And know for a fact its a very easy car to tune. I don´t know if its available with left steering yet but really i can live with the right steering when i´m going 300 km/h

then ive got some bad news for u, There is nog Skyline Sale in Europe, youve got to import the car from The Uk, or Us, and by the way, Skyline is VERY EXPENSIVE , i allready asked it at a Nissan Garage, and at our Tuning Store, there are ALLOT of Goodies for a skyline, you can easely browse it up to 500 HP / 600Hp, its possible, when youve got the dice

try a 95 or so 240sx...they are cheap and weigh in at 2400lbs. Then drop an SR20 motor in it and an S15 body kit and you will have one sweet ass ride. Don't forget to turbo charge it and get upwards of 400hp at the wheels if tuned correctly.
BUT remember that is just my opinion. I know these cars are good and I have driven and helped build a couple. Also look at some tuner magazines, it is a good start. If you need anything else let me know...i am more than happy to help.

Go for the Prelude - they are awesome cars - i had one recently and had to sell it but you get so much car for your money.

Honda all the way! lol. I'm only kidding. Honda is a good platform, especially the prelude. It's one of the higher powered makes from the honda line.

Some guidelines that could help us help you are budget, what style, fwd/rwd/awd, etc.

And like burnstyle said above, you gotta love the car you start with. Else, you might end up working on something that you'll get tired of. You wouldn't want to buy a car, start building it up, then realize you don't like it all that much. For example, the prelude may be a nice looking car and be within your power goals but what if you don't like the way it drives?

owned a skyline and a J-spec prelude. the lude sucks...skylines are ok. but not worth the 30,000$ to import them when i can buy it for only 3,000$. i owned a 1st gen eclipse with the 4G63 motor in it and did a J-spec swap with bolt on mods and had 350HP in the allwheel drive beast. those motors are solid. the 240SX would be the next choice with an SR20 swap and a silva front end. i am in japan and have gotten to drive the GT-R 180SX and so on...i personally have a Cedric now with the VG30DET in it. see all the cars i had here..

I was reading an article in a new magazine that was talking about how parts of the car market want to offer car "kits" where you get the basic platform containing the basic componets to drive around in, but they would offer some basic accessorys such as body, interior upgrades, lights, etc....

When i read this thread, i gotta say: why get a vehicle that mods easy. its never been about the end product, its the challenge conquored.

Guys Guys Guys, Allot of info flies towards me now,,, 1 Thing, we Bought a Car, its a Toyota Supra TARGA!!!, Simmilar to the one in F&F, we are doing it with 5 People, (some Engine / Body Experts) but the car only Cost 3000$ , but the parts went a Bit exspensive, All HKS and so on, i wil send you a Quick made Parts List, Some Parts arent on it, thats because weve ordered them elseway, The Project is Called "Project Super Supra" , you wil find out when youve seen all the parts


Were looking to be done in December, cause all Parts Come From Us and Japan, so maybe you wil see us in a Magezine (I Hope :P)

The reason that we bought this car was Because it was A Cheap car, with some Body Damage, but the engine in it was VERY VERY VERY Powerfull, The Engine Guy told me that :P lol ........ so the budget may come out high but in the end we all will be happy, ive heard some guys supra was Capable of 650HP!!! Sow we think we can do it better:P
